Fake phone recording asks credit union customers for info
Detectives were trying to shut down a phone scam targeted towards credit union customers in Beaverton, Aloha, and Salem. Police said the automated call says accounts for the First Tech Credit Union member were canceled, and provides a 1-800 number to call to resolve the problem.
